A black shirt is the one piece in a wardrobe that never needs planning. Pull it out, pair it with anything, walk out. The problem is that most black shirts sold here are cut in heavy, tightly woven fabric that turns unbearable by 11am.

We made the Eclipse to solve exactly that. Lightweight cotton, relaxed cut, and a finish that holds its shape through a full day of wear.

The fabric

This is a black cotton shirt with a subtle surface texture running through the weave. That texture is what stops black from reading flat and cheap in daylight — it gives the fabric depth without any print or pattern. The cotton is breathable and light enough for summer, which is the single reason most men avoid black in Pakistan between April and September. We have seen firsthand that fabric weight, not colour, is what makes a shirt unwearable in heat.

The fit

Relaxed modern fit through the chest and body, with full sleeves. It sits close enough to look intentional and loose enough to move in. There is no aggressive tapering, so it works across body types rather than flattering one. Our model wears a small. If you sit between two sizes, size down — this cut already carries extra room.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Wash dark colours separately for the first three washes. Iron on medium. Do not bleach.
